About GoAwayBugs
One person, one house at a time, with the cause of the problem fixed before anything gets sprayed.
Why I Start With a Walk Through, Not a Spray Can
I got into this work after watching too many homes get sprayed on a schedule while the ants kept marching in. The product was never the problem. Nobody had looked for the crack behind the dishwasher or the damp soil pressed against the siding.
So that is where I begin. Before I open a single container, I walk the property inside and out, and work out what you have, where it lives and how it gets in. The treatment comes after that, shaped by what I found.
You will always know what I used, where I put it and when each spot is safe to use again. If something does not need treating, I will say so.
Habits That Shape Every Visit
Look Before Treating
Every visit starts with an inspection. I check the places pests favour and trace the activity back to where it begins, so the treatment goes where it counts.
Use the Least That Works
Baits, dusts and sprays each have a job. I pick the one suited to the pest and the room, and keep it well out of reach of children and pets.
Explain as I Go
You hear what I found, what I did and what to watch for next. No jargon and no upsell, just a clear picture of what is happening in your own home.
What Happens During a Service
Three steps from the first sighting to a pest-free home, each one explained as it happens.
Find the Source
I check the spots pests favour, from under sinks to the attic, and work out what you have and where it gets in.
Treat the Problem
Baits, dusts or sprays go only where that pest lives. You get clear timing on when each treated spot is safe again.
Block the Return
Gaps get sealed and I point out the damp corner or woodpile that drew them, so the same pest does not come back.
